We Heard You!!

Over the past 5 years we’ve been grateful to have the opportunity to connect with so many awesome people, both in person and on social media, who are just as passionate about fishing and being on the water as we are at Montauk Outfitters. 

It’s been an incredible journey to watch this company grow and become what it is today. We started MTKO with an idea and a determination to make clothing in the USA that expresses our love for being on the boat and our distain for being stuck back in the office.

Many folks have asked us: ”When are you going to make long sleeves?!”  And we always responded: “They’re on the list, we’ll launch soon!” 

But we were so focused on continuously making our product line better andimproving our customers’ experience that long sleeves kept falling to the wayside.  That all changed this past October while we were working on the boat and had time to talk about how we make long sleeves the right way.

We wanted them to be a reflection of who we are.

Whether you’re kite fishing off Jupiter or trolling the rips for bass in the northeast, wearing gear that is both functional and fun is important. The designs themselves sum up our love for the winter sailfish run in S. Florida and chasing tuna in the canyons all summer.  MTKO long sleeves were engineered to be worn on the boat and not in the office.  We know people will be wearing them out fishing– exposed to sun, salt and tough conditions.
