We sit down for a quick chat with Co-Founder Mark.

What do you do at Montauk Outfitters:

Sales and marketing, product design and saving us from some of my brother's "out of the box" ideas.

What's one thing you're known for?

Crashing my moped into a BBQ grill on a sailing trip to Bermuda a few years ago...I don't think I'll ever live that one down.

Best place to sail on the East Coast?

Hmm...that's a tough one. I'd have to go with my home turf and say Block Island Sound. It always blows out of the southwest every summer afternoon...making for some great sailing.

Food you can't live without?

Definitely pizza.

One thing you must have with you on a trip?

My camera.

Favorite beer?

Dogfish 60 Minute IPA

Dream boat?

(Laughs)...Another tough one!  Anything designed by Sparkman and Stephens and built by Minnefords Yacht Yard during the first half of the last century. Those guys didn't just build boats, they created works of art.
